Food / Fish
Bio-Aqua has extensive experience in providing wastewater solutions for the food and fish industry. These solutions cover, among other things, recovery of valuable materials and treatment of wastewater from fish processing, dairy processing, disinfection, slaughterhouse, and other forms of food processing.
Material Recovery
Some waste streams can give basis for recovery of valuable ingredients. It can be protein/oil, N and P or energy.
Bio-Aqua has delivered plants for recovery of special valuable aromatic oils. By this the wastewater becomes a resource.
Paint
Production of paints creates wastewaters that requires special treatment. The water has to be kept under constant flow to not harden up and create problems is the process.
Bio-Aqua has developed equipment that solve such problems.
Water / Wastewater
Bio-Aqua offers solutions for special treatment of public or private wastewater treatment; it can be solids removal, phosphorus removal, sludge dewatering and minor bio-reactors.
Landfill
Water from landfills (leachate) contains everything washed out from the deposits: Nitrogen-rich components, oils, heavy metals, poisionois substances. The leachate can be treated using various technologies, depending on demands. Bio-Aqua has delivered a number of leachate treatment plants.
Biogas
Making energy out of energy-rich wastes is still more attractive. Bio-Aqua has developed two technologies for improved biogas production.
Aquaculture
Due to special relations to the aquaculture sector, Bio-Aqua has developed technologies for economic and efficient treatment of water in aquaculture systems. It is aeration, oxygenation, ozonation, biological treatment, filtration, and chemical conditioning of fresh- and seawater.
Textiles
Textile wastewater covers wastewater deriving from dying processes and laundry. For both sectors Bio-Aqua has delivered systems for cleaning and reuse of the water saving resources and money.
